System And Method For Generating A Compliance Report Of A Finished Product

Abstract: ABSTRACT Example approaches for performing a compliance check and generating a compliance report for a packaged product are described. In an example, an image of a packaged product is obtained for determining its compliance with 5 respect to certain regulatory guidelines. Thereafter, certain descriptive information is extracted from the package to be processed using a compliance checking model to ascertain whether the packaged product is compliant or not. Based on the processing, the compliance checking model generates a compliance report indicating the extent of compliance and 10 some recommendations as well. In an example, the model is trained using a dataset of product package images, each associated with a reference product category and relevant regulatory guidelines. The training process involves extracting package description information from training images and correlating it with product categories and regulatory requirements.
