An Improved Manual Call Point For Alarm Systems

Abstract: The invention relates to a Manual Call Point for an Alarm Systems, having the normal assembly like any other Manual Call Point for Alarm Systems, except that, the Photo Luminescent material strip (5) form or otherwise like moulded mounted at the appropriate place in and on the housing (1) which [Photo Luminescent material strip (5)] absorbing during normal light levels/visibility times the energy from any light source available and utilizing the said energy during the night hours &/or when no artificial illumination around or during the time when the visibility becoming low or poor or when a failure of the electric lighting supply everywhere, for self illumination, and allowing an easy detection, locating and activating, of the manual call point for the alarm systems at any point of time. The invention also relates to a Manual Call Point for an Alarm Systems, having the normal assembly like any other Manual Call Point for Alarm Systems as explained under Claim No.1 above, except that, instead of using the Photo Luminescent material with ABS plastic or Polycarbonate and making the whole of the housing (1) of the manual call point, self illuminated, during the night hours &/or when no artificial illumination around or during the time when the visibility becoming low or poor or when a failure of the electric lighting supply everywhere by utilizing the energy absorbed from any light source available during normal light levels/visibility times, and allowing an easy detection, locating and activating, of the manual call point for the alarm systems at any point of time.
