FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention relates to an improved temper proof seal for sealing electrical installations. The electrical installations may include Meter body of energy meter, terminal cover of energy meters and Metal box, and for other accounting purpose.
PRIOR ART
A seal as such known in the art for the same purpose wherein the male part of the seal is provided with a locking system, which is pressed into the female part with a wire in between. However the seal is associated with several disadvantages. One such disadvantage is gap between male part and female part with a difference in level at the tcp after pressing of the male part into female part. This facilitates tampering with the seal by using tool. Further, the seal can also be opened by pulling, the wire hard due to lack of grip.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
An object of the present invention is to propose an improved temper proof seal for sealing electrical installations which is provided with double locking systems for sufficient grip of wire inside the seal.
Another object of the present invention is to propose an improved temper proof seal for sealing electrical installations in which male and female front surface flush to each other after locking, which avoids gap and difference in level between the male and female part. This prevents tempering with the seal.
STATEMENT OF INVENTION
According to this invention there is provided an improved temper proof seal for sealing electrical installations comprises a male and a female part connected to each other provided with double locking system for fitting male part into the female part wherein the female part, is provided with atleast one hole and the male part is provided with atleast two holes for insertion of a seal wire therethrough.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION WITH REFERENCE TO ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS
The seal of the present invention as shown in fig. 1 and 2 comprises a male part (1) (fig. 1) and a female part (2) (fig.2) attached with each other. The male part is provided with double locking system (3) for locking with double locking system (4) i.e. anchor locking of the female part. Further, the male part is having atleast two holes (5) and the female part
has atleast one hole (6) for insertion of the seal wire (7) therethrough. The seal wire may be in built with the female part.
When the seal is closed, the upper hole on the Male part, aligns with the hole on the female part for passing the sealing wire through both the holes for the purpose of sealing.
In case the sealing wire is not molded with the female part and a separate sealing wire is to be used, then this wire will be routed through both the holes on the Male part, before locking the Male part into the female part, so that the sealing wire gets locked into the plastic seal.
The seal is designed for a single use only. Therefore, if it is tempered with the help of puller, knife or any other sharp instruments, the seal is damaged and due to its see through property, the damage is easily detected. Also once opened, it cannot be re-used. Further, the seal is easily locked with the help of finger and thumb and no tools arc required to close the seal. After inserting the seal wire, the cap of the male part is
fitted in the female part that it does not leave any space to avoid insertion of any sharp tools for opening of seal body in hot or cold condition. The seal of the present invention has the following features.
a) Temper resistant and reliable,
b) Environmentally safe as it does not contain any lead,
c) Resistance to long-term exposure to direct sunlight,
d) No requirement of tools for installation,
e) Transparent
f) Resistant to heat and chemical.
It is to be noted that the present invention is susceptible to modifications, adaptations and changes by those skilled in the art. Such variant embodiments employing the concepts and features of this invention are intended to be within the scope of the present invention, which is further set forth under the following claims:-

WE CLAIM
1. An improved temper proof seal for sealing electrical installations
comprises a male and a female part connected to each other
provided with double locking system for fitting male part into
the female part wherein the female part is provided with atleast
one hole and the male part is provided with atleast two holes for
insertion of a seal wire therethrough.
2. An improved temper proof seal as claimed in claim 1 or 2
wherein the double locking system of the female part, is anchor
locking system.
3. An improved temper proof seal for sealing electrical installations
substantially as herein described and illustrated with reference
to the accompanying drawings.
