Abstract: Described herein is an indoor method [300] for testing an inflated pneumatic tyre [100] comprising the steps of, firstly, providing the tyre [100] in a preconditioned phase and a testing device [200] configured to detect at least a tyre running condition; secondly, assembling the tyre [100] with a main shaft [202] of the testing device [200] at a predefined camber angle position (c) to be rotated thereafter; thirdly, applying multiple loads on the tyre [100] in a cyclic manner and accelerating the tyre [100] intermittently in the testing position to run at multiple test rotational speeds corresponding to a plurality of stages, wherein each of the plurality of stages has a predefined time duration; and finally, ceasing the running test upon detection of at least a stop condition. Notably, the predefined camber angle position (c) value ranges from -4° to +4°.
