Specification

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Field of the Invention:
The present invention relates to a cable blocking device, and more particularly, to the cable blocker which blocks the cable and doesn't let it move. The cable blocking device can be of different size and shapes depending on the type of the cable and consists of Outer body, which is tapered fi"om inside. Lock nut. Cap, which is threaded fi-om inside; Spring; Safety cap, which prevents accidental upward movement of the pin; Piston/Plunger to move the cable, which allow the cable to move upward always and prevent downward movement; Balls;
Description of the Related Art:
Generally, conventional cable blocker has a screw to attach the blocker to any portable equipment and the cable is inserted in the cable blocker through a hole and then connected to sensor. It is used to prevent theft, as the cable is of optical fiber and connected to sensor to raise the alarm in case of any disturbance to the cable. In the conventional cable blockers there is a problem of proper fixing of the cable and they can be used only for optical fiber cables. There is also a problem in extending the cable and the cable cannot be extended without taking it out and inserting it again.
Summary of the invention:
To solve the above-described problems, it is an objective of the present invention to make the present invention more advantageous and technically sound than the conventional cable blocker.
The Cable Blocking device wherein the novel inventions include a compact design of Outer body and Safety cap wherein Outer body comprises of item Piston/Plunger with three holes aligned and equispaced having inserted balls m it and a spring; the cable blocker can block the cable effectively and it has an easy provision of extending the cable also. Outer surface can be of different size and shapes depending on the type of cable and its requirement.
Brief Description of the Drawings:
The above objective and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent by describing in detail preferred embodiments thereof with reference to the attached drawings in which:
Fig. 1. is a diagram schematically illustrating the Cable blocker showing the
different components of the assembly;
Fig. 2 shows the construction of the Piston/Plunger.
Fig. 3 shows the construction of the Outer Body.
Detalled Description of Drawings:
Now, a Cable Blocker is a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and accordingly the method will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.
Referring to Fig.l, the outer body (1) tapers at the upper end and is having threads at the lower end. Piston/Plunger (6), consisting of three radial holes with balls (7) and a central hole in them, is inserted in outer body (1) from lower end. Thereafter spring (4) is inserted on Piston/Plunger (6). Then lock nut (2) is joined to outer body (1) with the help of threads. Thereafter cap (3) is threaded on outer body (1) and safety cap (5) can be placed on Piston/Plunger (6). When the cable Blocker is locked with safety cap then the cable cannot be moved. As the balls (7) inside Piston/Plunger (6) are joined together in the locking position and thus there is no space for cable to move. When the cable blocker is unlocked and pin that is upper part of Piston/Plunger (6) is pressed then the balls (7) separate out and thus cable can be moved back and forth.
Referring to Fig.2, Piston/Plunger (6) consists threads on its upper part pin. It is tapered from middle and tapered part has three radial holes wherein three steel balls (7) are inserted consists of thread on its lower end. It tapers at upper end and has a central through hole for insertion of a cable. Diameter of inner surface of upper end is less than diameter of inner surface of lower end so that Piston/Plunger (6) can perfectly fits into outer body.
Referring to Fig.3, outer body (1) consists of thread on its lower end. It tapers at upper end. Diameter of inner surface of upper end is less than diameter of irmer surface of lower end so that Piston/Plunger (6) can perfectly fits into outer body.
As described above, the cable blocker according to the present invention has the following advantages.
First, the mechanism is extremely user fiiendly and saves time on installation.
Second, there is production flexibility in design and finish

We Claim:
1. A Cable Blocking Device comprises Outer body, which is tapered from
inside; Lock nut; Cap, which is threaded from inside; Spring; Safety cap,
which prevents accidental upward movement of the pin; Piston/Plunger to
move the cable, which allow the cable to move upward always and
prevent downward movement and three Balls; the cable is blocked with
the cable blocking device through safety cap that lock the cable blocking
device and the cable can be extended by unlocking safety cap.
2. A Cable Blocking Device as claimed in claim 1 the Diameter of inner
surface of upper end is less than diameter of irmer surface of lower end of
the Outer Body.
3. A Cable Blocking Device as claimed in claim 1 consist of Piston/Plunger
with three holes aligned and equispaced having inserted balls in them.
4. A Cable Blocking Device as claimed in claim 1 the lock nut facilitates the
extension of the cable and provide proper gripping during extension.
5. A Cable Blocking Device as claimed in claim 1 can be locked and
unlocked through safety cap.
6. A Cable Blocking Device as claimed in claim 1 have a spring to contract
and expand balls in the sockets which further close across the cable to
tighten it and expand to let it move or extend.
7. A Cable Blocking Device as claimed in any of the above claims
substantially as described in the specification and illustrated in the
accompanying drawings
