Improved Tyre Tread Composition Comprising Silanes

Abstract: The present invention provides a tyre tread composition comprising a combination of at least a diene rubber, reinforcing fillers, and a combination of silanes consisting of at least a mercapto silane and at least a sulfide silane, which, at a particular loading dosage ratio improves the cut & tear performance, winter traction performance, and abrasion resistance of the tyre tread composition.
