Abstract: The present invention relates to a Tamper Free packaging box with perforations and interlocking wherein a plurality of perforated line (32) present over flaps (30, 31) in such a manner that allows any trapped air to escape when the portion of the flaps (30, 31) are attached to corresponding portion of the upper surface of top wall (23) and further any attempt of opening the flaps (30, 31) of the closed box result into tearing of the flaps (30, 31) along the corresponding plurality of perforated line (32) thereby evidencing any attempt of tempering. The sides (33, 34) of flaps (30, 31) are further present with contour structure in form of waves which enhances and ensures the tearing along the perforations (32) in case of any attempt of completely closed box. The present invention is present with a self erect mechanism achieved due to the interlocking of the corresponding flaps (10,11,16,17).
That the present invention relates to tamper free packaging box and more particularly to tamper free packaging box with perforations & interlocking flaps to minimize tampering and make evident any tampering to the packaging box.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
In the e-commerce industry various products are packaged, shipped and delivered (i.e. supply chain) to the customers which includes shipping high end electronic goods i.e. mobile phones, tablets, power banks, camera, watches, etc.
Cardboard based packaging is a versatile and cost-efficient method to transport, protect and preserve a wide array of items. Cardboard boxes are industrially prefabricated boxes, primarily used for packaging goods and materials and can be recycled. The term cardboard may refer to a variety of heavy paper like material including card stock, corrugated, fiberboard and paper board.
US3008626 discloses a folding carton box formed by folding or erecting one or more blanks by folding-up portions connected to a central panel from all sides to form a container body with adjacent sides interconnected by gusset folds and being maintained in erected condition by integral mechanical locking means formed on or co-acting with the gusset folds e.g., tabs, tongue and slit.
However, the above mentioned invention is not provided with tempering evidencing mechanisms.
Packaging theft is unfortunately a problem that happens all too often. Theft does not just consist of packages being stolen off of porches or door steps. Theft also includes carton
tampering and products being stolen from cardboard boxes before ever making it to the destination.
Attempts have been made since long back to prevent tempering of the cardboard boxes. Various boxes with various structures and features to prevent tempering without detection are already in use and have been developed and introduced from time to time. Even several patents have already been granted and several are in process of registration for such boxes with temper proof features.
US 4246307 discloses a laminated sticker card, the laminate including a printed inner layer which adheres to a substrate and an outer layer. Portions of the printed inner layer adjacent the substrate are preferentially adhered at certain locations to the substrate and at other locations to the outer layer of the laminate from the substrate results in tearing of the printed inner layer at the preferentially adhered locations.
However, the same requires that the user be alert to the special circumstances which indicate tempering.
SUMMARY OF INVENTION
The present invention envisages a tamper free packaging box with perforations & interlocking flaps including a base wall providing bottom of the box, a top wall adapted to close the box from top, a plurality of side walls which are joined to the base wall and folded along folding lines respectively in the upward direction and one of the side wall articulated with the top wall along the corresponding folding line. The box also comprises a plurality of pairs of interlocking flaps articulated along folding lines with corresponding sides when interlocked respectively provides a self erect structure to the box. The box further comprise a plurality of flaps present with perforated parallel running lines and said flaps articulated with corresponding side walls along corresponding folding lines. After completely arranging and closing the box, the said flaps with perforated lines are attached with the upper surface of the top wall with sticking means present. Now, any
attempt of opening the flaps with perforation will result into tearing of said flaps along the perforation evidencing any kind of tempering attempt.
The sides of flaps with perforations from which the perforation starts may further be present with contour structure in the form of waves to restrict to cut open the box in straight line and to enhance and ensure the visual tearing process which makes it impossible further enhances and ensures the tearing process.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
This description is not intended to be a detailed log of all the possible ways in which the invention may be implemented, or all features that may be added to the instant invention. For example, features illustrated with respect to a particular embodiment may be incorporated into other embodiment, and features illustrated with respect to a particular embodiment may be deleted from that embodiment. In addition, numerous variations and additions to the various embodiment suggested herein will be apparent to those skilled in the art in light of the present disclosure, which do not depart from the present invention.
Hence the following specifications are intended to illustrate some particular embodiment and variations thereof.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention as disclosed in Fig 1 to 7, the Tamper Free packaging box (A) with perforations & interlocking flaps relates to the rectangular box. Fig 1 discloses the blank used for forming the box (A) according to the present invention the in a flat die cut form with folding lines and the portion of the blank can be fold accordingly to form walls/sides of the packaged box (A). That the box consists of a base (1) with folding lines to each of the corners of the same. That plurality of walls (2, 3, 4, 5) are foldably joined to the sides of the base wall (1) along the folding lines (6, 7, 8, 9). Walls (2, 3, 4, 5) when folded upward form the sides walls of the box (A) covering the box from the corresponding sides. Flaps (10, 11) of equal dimensions foldably joined along folding lines (12, 13) to side wall (3). The flaps (10, 11) are present with the interlocking mechanisms (14, 15) to be interlocked with the complementary interlocking mechanism (20, 21) present on corresponding flaps (16, 17) corrugated to join the side wall (5) along the folding lines (18, 19). The side walls (3, 5) folded in upward direction and the flaps (10, 11, 16, 17) are interlocked correspondingly forming a self erected box with base wall (1) and with side walls (3, 5) and with open top as shown in Fig 3.
The side wall (3) is further joined with top wall (23) along folding line (22). The top wall (23) is having size equal to the dimension of the base (1) and when folded inwardly covers the box (A) from the top. A flap (25) is also attached with the top wall (23) along folding line (24). The said flap (25) is preferably having equal dimension to side wall (5) however having slightly trimmed sides (26, 27) so that when the flap (25) is folded inwardly along line (24), the same may be easily inserted inside the box parallel to side wall (5) at the same time supporting the top wall (23) when closed from getting misarranged in case external pressure of certain level is exerted upon top wall (23) in downward direction.
The side walls (2, 4) are joined with a plurality of flaps (30, 31) respectively along folding lines (28, 29) respectively. The flaps (30, 31) are present with a plurality of the
perforated lines (32) running parallel to each other from side (33, 34) of the flap (30, 31) respectively towards the folding lines (28, 29). The upper surface of top wall (23) is present with adhesive protected with peel able protection strip (35) which can be peeled in order to stick the flaps (30, 31) with the top wall (23) in a completely arranged box (A). The perforated lines (32) allows any trapped air in between the overlapped portion the top wall (23) and the flaps (30, 31) to escape ensuring better sticking and further ensuring tearing of the top flaps (30, 31) and top wall (23) along the perforated lines (32) with any attempt of tempering. The sides (33, 34) of the flaps (30, 31) is preferably present with complementary contour structure in form of waves to restrict tearing or cutting of flaps (30, 31) in a straight line alongside perforated lines (32) restrict to cut open the box in straight line and to enhance and ensure the visual tearing process which further enhances and ensures the tearing of the flaps (30, 31) along the perforated lines (32). Now the box (A) closed from all sides and flaps once stuck with the adhesive present on the upper surface of the top wall (23) provide a temper proof arrangement and any attempt of tempering will result into tearing of the flaps (30, 31) along with the perforated lines.
In another preferred embodiment the adhesive glue instead of being present on the top wall (23) may be present over the surface of the flaps (30, 31) overlapping with the said top wall (23). The backing over which the adhesive is coated is having cuts along the perforated lines (32) so that in case of any possible tempering the flaps (30, 31) get easily tear along the perforated lines (32).
