Automated Calibration Of Data Recorders By Voice Recognition Of Post Flight Cvr/Fdr Data

Abstract: Automated calibration of flight parameters in data recorders by voice recognition of post flight CVR/FDR data auto calibrates the flight parameters in the data recorders by ·processing the recorded voice data of flight crew using voice processing algorithm. In the existing method, parameters in the flight data recorders is being calibrated using manual feeding of the parameters value observed during flight. The calibration is performed using ground based equipment. This process is time consuming and requires a dedicated person to perform the calibration task. In addition to above drawback, it is also prone to error if calibration is performed by untrained person. To overcome these drawbacks of the existing calibration process, the current invention will address the problem in an effective way and can bypass the need of additional person to exec. ute the task of. calibration.
