Abstract: The present invention discloses a ceramic tile with temperature shield coating of high solar reflective index of more than 90. The ceramic tile comprises engobe coating and glaze coating. The engobe composition is prepared from material consisting essentially of Frit A, ball clay, China clay, potash feldspar, quartz, zircon. Frit A consisting essentially of in 10 weight percentage of Quartz, China Clay, Calcite, Soda feldspar, Zircon Flour, Dolomite, Colemanite, Soda Ash, Zinc Oxide. The glaze composition consisting essentially of Frit B, Calcite, China clay, Nepheline, Soda Feldspar, Calcined alumina, dolomite, wollastonite, zircon, zinc oxide. Frit B consisting essentially of in weight percentage of Quartz, China Clay, Calcite, Soda Feldspar, Zircon Flour, Dolomite, Zinc Oxide, Colemanite, Soda Ash.
