Abstract: The present invention relates to an electronic protection circuit (108) for protection and monitoring of a fuse. The electronic protection circuit (108) comprises a switch connected with one or more fuse (104) to protect the electrical circuit (102). The electronic protection circuit (108) also comprises a first operational amplifier (114) connected with a differential amplifier (112) and a second operational amplifier (118) connected with the one or more fuse (104). A transistor (126) is connected with the first operational amplifier (114) and the second operational amplifier (118). An output of the first operational amplifier (114) and the second operational amplifier (118) controls an output of the transistor (126). The output of the transistor (126) drives operation of the switch, thereby protecting the one or more fuse (104) from malfunctioning when there is low current in the electrical circuit (102).
