Method And Apparatus For Manufacturing Of Corrugated Strip Spring

Abstract: Method and apparatus is designed for the manufacturing of corrugated spring from a different material strips and further providing heat treatment to attain the enhanced fatigue life, toughness and ductility to ensure its spring characteristics by using the same special fixture. In this process, in a precisely timed manner, the one end of the strip is to be locked into the mandrel keyway of special fixture where the strip is precisely positioned. The precisely positioned strips are successively positioned on a forming wedge which is intermittently tightened in synchronism with the screw from which the strips are formed to form a corrugated spring ..
