Abstract: The present invention relates to a position extremity indicator guard for rudder, stern hydroplane and propeller of submarines in floating as well as in docked condition; and to protect the rudder, stern planes from first line of impact. The said guard (100) for indicating the position extremities of a floating submarine comprises, plurality of flat bars (7,8,9) with extended arms; plurality of pipes (1,2,3) affixed on said flat bars (7,8,9); and plurality of angles (4,5,6,13) fastened on said flat bars (7,8,9). Further, the said extended arms of flat bar (7,8,9) indicate the extremities of both the port and starboard hydroplanes.
DESC:FIELD OF INVENTION:
The present invention generally relates to submarines. More particularly, the present invention relates to a position extremity indicator for rudder, stern hydroplane and propeller of submarines.
BACKGROUND AND PRIOR ART:
Submarines are marine vessels which work independently underwater. Submarines are majorly used for military purposes and also for marine science exploration.
The submarines are provided with hydroplanes, at the forward and aft of submarines. These hydroplanes are horizontal control surfaces used for diving and surfacing of the submarine in submerged condition. They are also used to control the vertical motion of submarines and other underwater vehicles. The forward hydroplanes are called bow hydroplanes whereas the aft hydroplanes are called stern hydroplanes. These hydroplanes control the vertical motion of the submarine and also control the depth of the submarine. A propeller is used to propel the submarine forward and aft.
When a submarine is floating in water, the rudders, stern planes and the propeller are crucial parts of the submarine which are submerged and is not in line of sight. As both the propeller and stern hydroplanes are designed to function in submerged condition; ships or boats are required to stand clear-off the said propeller and stern hydroplanes, so as to not damage the submerged objects.
Thus, there is a need of a guard that positions perfectly over the upper rudder outer surface in upright form designating the position limitations of the said rudders, stern hydroplane and propeller.
The present invention thus discloses a contour and profile for stern upper rudder, stern hydroplane and propeller of submarines.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention relates to a rudder, stern hydroplane and propeller for submarines.
It is another object of the present invention to protect the rudder, stern planes from first line of impact.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a guard that indicates the position extremities of the submarine in floating as well as in docked condition.
It is another object of the present invention to indicate the presence of such appendages.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a contour and profile for stern upper rudder, stern hydroplane and propeller of submarine.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a guard that fits perfectly over the upper rudder outer surface in vertical condition.
Accordingly, the said guard comprises, plurality of pipes, flat bars and angles; wherein said pipes and flat bars are affixed by tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding and the angles and flat bars are fixed by fastening members.
The said fastening members are selected from nuts, bolts and washer.
The said plurality of pipes, flat bars and angles for guard are selected from aluminium material.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The invention is described herein in detail with the help of figures appended at the end of the specification. The figures illustrate the preferred embodiment as well as other embodiments that define the scope of the present invention. However, it may be understood that the figures presented herein are intended to exemplify the scope of the invention only. The person skilled in art may note that by no means the figures limit the scope of the invention. Any variation in the drawings by any other person will be falling in the scope of the present invention.
The present invention relates to a guard that indicates the position extremities of a rudder, stern hydroplane and propeller in submarines. The present invention thus provides a contour and profile for stern upper rudder, stern hydroplane and propeller of submarine.
As illustrated in Figures 1-2, a schematic view of stern hydroplane and propeller guard is disclosed. The said guard comprises, plurality of pipes (1,2,3), flat bars (7,8,9) and angles (4,5,6,13); wherein said pipes and flat bars are affixed by tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding and the angles and flat bars are fixed by fastening members (10,11,12).
Further the said guard according to the present invention perfectly fits over the upper rudder outer surface in vertical condition.
In a preferred embodiment according to the present invention, said guard (100) for indicating the position extremities of a floating submarine comprises, plurality of flat bars (7,8,9) with extended arms; plurality of pipes (1,2,3) affixed on said flat bars (7,8,9); and plurality of angles (4,5,6,13) fastened on said flat bars (7,8,9).
In a same preferred embodiment according to the present invention, said pipes (1,2,3) and flat bars (7,8,9) are affixed by tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding.
In a same preferred embodiment according to the present invention, said flat bars (7,8,9) and the angles (4,5,6,13) are fastened using fastening members (10,11,12) selected from plurality of nut and bolts.
In a same preferred embodiment according to the present invention, said plurality of pipes (1,2,3), flat bars (7,8,9) and the angles (4,5,6,13) are selected from aluminium.
In a preferred embodiment according to the present invention, the pipes (1,2,3) are rounded in accordance with the contour or the profile of the upper rudder.
The foregoing descriptions are merely specific embodiments of the present invention, but are not intended to limit the protection scope of the present invention. Any variation or replacement readily figured out by a person skilled in the art within the technical scope disclosed in the present invention shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention. Therefore, the protection scope of the present invention shall be subject to the protection scope of the claims.
