Abstract: An apparatus for the thermal heating of steel products comprises inside it a path for feeding the steel items which extends between an entry end (11) and an exit end (12) of the steel items, means for feeding a fuel, means for feeding a comburent comprising oxygen, and burners able to operate the combustion of the fuel and of the comburent.
