Abstract: The present invention provides a thermostable material comprising salts of Bismuth and Yttrium doped with salt of rare earth element and provides thermal stabilization of articles, preferably automobiles/vehicles. Said thermostable material provides controlled absorption and emission based on atmospheric conditions. Specifically, said thermostable material of the present invention provides efficient thermoregulation inside the vehicles/ automobiles. The present invention also provides a method of preparing the thermostable material. The present invention further provides an article comprising thermostable material for thermal stabilization thereof.
