Abstract: “SUSPENSION SYSTEM OF VEHICLE AND VEHICLE INCLUDING THE SUSPENSION SYSTEM” A suspension system (140) comprising a front fork (142) coupled to a wheel (114) of a vehicle (100). The front fork (142) comprises a first and second fork upper pipes (154, 156) telescopically receivable in a first and second fork lower devices (144, 146), respectively, and a suspension holder (160) coupled to the first and second fork upper pipes (154, 156). The suspension holder (160) comprises a first clamp portion (162) and a second clamp portion (164) configured to receive and clamp the first fork upper pipe (154) and the second fork upper pipe (156), respectively. The suspension system (140) is configured to clamp the first fork upper pipe (154) and the second fork upper pipe (156) in a first configuration of the vehicle (100), and unclamp one of the first fork upper pipe (154) and the second fork upper pipe (156) in a second configuration of the vehicle (100). We Claim:
5 1. A suspension system (140) of a vehicle (1), comprising:
a front fork (142) adapted to be coupled to a front wheel (114) of the
vehicle (1), the front fork (142) comprising:
a first fork upper pipe (154) telescopically receivable in a first
fork lower device (144);
10 a second fork upper pipe (156) telescopically receivable in a
second fork lower device (146); and
a suspension holder (160) adapted to be coupled to and extending
between the first fork upper pipe (154) and the second fork upper pipe
(156), the suspension holder (160) comprises
15 a first clamp portion (162) configured to receive and
clamp the first fork upper pipe (154), and
a second clamp portion (164) configured to receive and
clamp the second fork upper pipe (156),
wherein, the suspension system (140) configured to:
20 clamp both the first fork upper pipe (154) and the second
fork upper pipe (156) in a first configuration of the vehicle (1),
and
unclamp one of the first fork upper pipe (154) and the
second fork upper pipe (156) in a second configuration of the
25 vehicle (1).
2. The suspension system (140) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the vehicle (1)
configured to be driven in a two-wheeled configuration (100) and a multiwheeled configuration (200).

3. The suspension system (140) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first
configuration of the vehicle (1) is a multi-wheeled configuration (200) of the
vehicle (1).

4. The suspension system (140) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second
configuration of the vehicle (1) is a two-wheeled configuration (100) of the
vehicle (1).
5 5. The suspension system (140) as claimed in claim 2, wherein in the two-wheeled
configuration (100) of the vehicle (1), one of the first fork upper pipe (154) and
the second fork upper pipe (156) slidable with respect to the suspension holder
(160).
10 6. The suspension system (140) as claimed in claim 1, wherein one of the first
clamp portion (162) and the second clamp portion (164) comprises a bush (180)
disposed therein, and
corresponding fork upper pipe amongst the first fork upper pipe (154)
and the second fork upper pipe (156) slidable with respect to the bush (180), in
15 the second configuration of the vehicle (1).
7. The suspension system (140) as claimed in claim 6, wherein the bush (180)
formed of polymer or polytetrafluoroethylene.
20 8. The suspension system (140) as claimed in claim 1, each of the first clamp
portion (162) and the second clamp portion (164) comprises
a cylindrical curved wall (166, 168) defining a longitudinal slot (167),
at least one fastener (170) to fasten edges of the cylindrical curved wall
(166, 168) about the longitudinal slot (167), and the at least one fastener (170)
25 adapted to be actuated manually or electronically for clamping and unclamping
the first fork upper pipe (154) and the second fork upper pipe (156).
9. The suspension system (140) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the suspension
system (140) comprises an electrical actuator (172) associated with one of the
30 first clamp portion (162) and the second clamp portion (164) of the suspension
holder (160) for adjusting the first clamp portion (162) or the second clamp
portion (164) to clamp and unclamp the corresponding of the first fork upper
pipe (154) and the second fork upper pipe (156).

10. The suspension system (140) as claimed in claim 9, wherein the electrical
actuator (172) comprises motor driven electric actuator.
11. The suspension system (140) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the suspension
5 holder (140) is a triple tree bracket adapted to couple a steering stem (141’) of
the vehicle (1) to the front fork (142) of the vehicle (1).
12. A vehicle (100) configured to be driven in a two-wheeled configuration (100)
and a multi-wheeled configuration (200), the vehicle (100) comprising:
10 a body frame (102);
a front wheel (114) supported by a front portion (104) of the body frame
(102);
a rear wheel (124) supported by a rear portion (106) of the body frame
(102);
15 a power source and a transmission system; and
a suspension system (140), the suspension system (140) comprising:
a front fork (142) adapted to be coupled to the front wheel (114)
of the vehicle (100), the front fork (142) comprising:
a first fork upper pipe (154) telescopically receivable in
20 a first fork lower device (144);
a second fork upper pipe (156) telescopically receivable
in a second fork lower device (146); and
a suspension holder (160) adapted to be coupled to and
extending between the first fork upper pipe (154) and the second
25 fork upper pipe (156), the suspension holder (160) comprises
a first clamp portion (162) configured to receive
and clamp the first fork upper pipe (154), and
a second clamp portion (164) configured to
receive and clamp the second fork upper pipe (156),
30 wherein, the suspension system (140) configured to:
clamp both the first fork upper pipe (154) and the
second fork upper pipe (156) in the multi-wheeled
configuration (200) of the vehicle, and

unclamp one of the first fork upper pipe (154) and
the second fork upper pipe (156) in the two-wheeled
configuration (100) of the vehicle.
5 13. The vehicle (100) as claimed in claim 12, wherein, in the two-wheeled
configuration (100) of the vehicle,
one of the first fork upper pipe (154) and the second fork upper pipe
(156) slidable with respect to the suspension holder (160).
10 14. The vehicle (100) as claimed in claim 12, wherein one of the first clamp portion
(162) and the second clamp portion (164) comprises a bush (180) disposed
therein, and
corresponding fork upper pipe amongst the first fork upper pipe (154)
and the second fork upper pipe (156) slidable with respect to the bush (180), in
15 the two-wheeled configuration (100) of the vehicle.
15. The vehicle (100) as claimed in claim 14, wherein the bush (180) formed of
polymer or polytetrafluoroethylene.
20 16. The vehicle (100) as claimed in claim 12, each of the first clamp portion (162)
and the second clamp portion (164) comprises
a cylindrical curved wall (166, 168) defining a longitudinal slot (167),
at least one fastener (170) to fasten edges of the cylindrical curved wall
(166, 168) about the longitudinal slot (167), and the at least one fastener (170)
25 adapted to be actuated manually or electronically for clamping and unclamping
the first fork upper pipe (154) and the second fork upper pipe (156).
17. The vehicle (100) as claimed in claim 12, wherein the suspension system (140)
comprises an electrical actuator (172) associated with one of the first clamp
30 portion (162) and the second clamp portion (164) of the suspension holder (160)
for adjusting the first clamp portion (162) or the second clamp portion (164) to
clamp and unclamp the corresponding of the first fork upper pipe (154) and the
second fork upper pipe (156).

comprises motor driven electric actuator
