Abstract: ABSTRACT A SEGMENTED EDGE BLADE FOR ILLUMINATION SYSTEM The present disclosure relates to an illumination system (200) for vehicles. The illumination system includes a housing (202) and a printed circuit board (204) having a plurality of light sources (206) that emit light rays towards the housing. The illumination system further comprises a plurality of light guide devices (100) mounted on housing and positioned near the PCB. Each light guide device (100) comprises a body (102) having a first end (108) and a second end (110). The first end features a first portion (104) that receives light rays from at least one light source (206), while the second end has a second portion (106) that transmits the received light. The body comprises a plurality of light reflecting surfaces (112) that extend between the first end and the second end, ensuring the directed flow of light from the light source(s) through the first portion to the second portion.
