An Oil Separation Device Of An Engine

Abstract: An oil separation device (2) of an engine disposed in an engine head cover (1) and configured to separate oil contained in blowby gas comprising a separation chamber (3) configured to receive a mist of oil- blowby gas. A separation plate (4) disposed in the separation chamber (3) wherein the mist of oil-blowby gas strikes the separation plate (4) and the separation plate (4) is configured to separate oil from the mist of oil-blowby gas. A drainage passage (5) disposed adjacent to the separation plate (4) and configured to accept oil flowing down from the separation plate (4). A cover (6) integrally formed at the bottom portion (7) of the drainage passage (5) wherein the cover (6) is positioned directly above a lobe (8) of a camshaft (9) and the cover (6) comprises at least one drain hole (13) configured to control the flow of oil into a combustion chamber of the engine.
