Abstract: ABSTRACT “AN APPARATUS FOR INVESTIGATING A COLLISION WITH A PHYSICAL STRUCTURE” The present disclosure relates to an apparatus (100) for investigating collisions with 5 a physical structure. The apparatus (100) comprises a test body (102) having a first section (106) and a second section (108). A drive unit (110) is incorporated to drive the test body (102) mounted thereon. A bracket (112) is securely fixed to the second section (108) of the test body (102). Additionally, a guide rod (114) fixedly connected to the drive unit (110) is provided. The guide rod (114) is configured to 10 support the test body (102) through the bracket (112). The bracket (112) comprises a linear bearing (116) configured to facilitate smooth and controlled motion of the test body (102) on the guide rod (114). [FIG. 1]
