Abstract: A Battery Management System (BMS) for regulating current between a battery and a load is described. The BMS comprises a pre-charging circuit 100 forming an electrical connection between the battery and the load, and configured to pre-charge a capacitor. The capacitor is electrically connected to the pre-charging circuit 100 and the load with an inverter. The pre- charging circuit 100 comprises a pre-charge resistor 102 for limiting inrush current, and an auxiliary resistor 104 connected in parallel to the pre-charge resistor 102 for supplementing the pre-charge resistor 102 in limiting the inrush current. The auxiliary resistor 104 is replaceable. Fig. 1 is the representative figure
