1. A modular news desk system for rapid setup and takedown, comprising:
a central module having a tabletop surface;
at least two side modules, each attachable to the central module via quick-release connectors;
an integrated cable management system within the central module;
a display mount coupled to the central module for holding a monitor or teleprompter; and
a control unit operatively connected to the quick-release connectors, adapted to lock or unlock the side modules electronically.
2. The modular news desk system of claim 1, wherein the quick-release connectors comprise a combination of magnetic and mechanical locking mechanisms.
3. The modular news desk system of claim 1, further comprising a plurality of storage compartments integrated into the central and side modules, each compartment being accessible via a concealed door.
4. The modular news desk system of claim 1, further comprising a wireless charging pad integrated into the tabletop surface of the central module, operatively connected to the control unit for power management.
5. The modular news desk system of claim 1, wherein the display mount is adjustable in height and orientation, controlled via the control unit.
6. A method for rapidly setting up and taking down a modular news desk, the method comprising:
aligning a central module with at least two side modules;
attaching the side modules to the central module using quick-release connectors;
locking the quick-release connectors via a control unit; and
routing cables through an integrated cable management system within the central module.
7. The method of claim 6, further comprising:
mounting a display on a display mount coupled to the central module; and
adjusting the height and orientation of the display mount via the control unit.

placing devices or equipment in storage compartments integrated into the central and side modules; and

9. The method of claim 6, further comprising:
placing a device on a wireless charging pad integrated into the tabletop surface of the central module; and

unlocking the quick-release connectors via the control unit for takedown; and
