Abstract: The invention relates to a speed changer pulley system for a machine thresher which helps to get the desired r. p. m. wherein an adjuster (3) is provided which is rotated in clockwise or anti-clockwise direction which transmits motion to chain (6) which rotates a pulley compressor (4) to create or release pressure on a driver pulley (1) which results in change in circumference of belt (7) path and a driven pulley (2) automatically adjust belt path circumference by the force of compression spring (5).

The invention relates to a speed changer pulley system for a machine thresher which helps to get the desired rpm.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A speed change pulley system is a group of multiple part system in a machine thresher which helps to gain desired revolutions per minute (RPM) for operating the machine. Conventional pulley system comprises of multiple pulleys which requires higher maintenance and manforce thereby resulting less productivity and time consuming. Therefore, the inventors of the present invention has deviced a two pulley system instead of multiple pulley system to maintain desired rpm which overcomes the drawback of conventional systems.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

One of the main embodiment provides a two-pulley system for a machine thresher wherein in order to change the rpm an adjuster (3) is rotated in clockwise or anti-clockwise direction which in turn transmits motion to chain (6) which in turn rotates the pulley compressor (4) which creates or releases pressure on driver pulley (1) which causes change in circumference of belt (7) path that results in increase or decrease in RPM due to expansion or contraction in circumference. Such an expansion or contraction in circumference results in strain on the belt by which the driven pulley (2) automatically adjusts belt path circumference by the force of compression spring (5) and prevent the belt slipping.

Another embodiment of the present invention is directed to a system wherein in order to increase the r.p.m. the adjuster (3) for pulley compressor (4) is rotated into clockwise motion with the help of a torque wrench (etc.) and chain (6) which results in compression on the driver pulley (1) which pushes belt (7) to outside and increases its rotating circumference and thus cause the belt to travel much longer to complete a rotation at driver pulley (1) which causes more strain in belt (7) and driven pulley (2) to expand by which circumference of belt (7) reduces which causes driven pulley to rotate at higher rpm and a compression spring (5) creates pressure at driven pulley (2) to prevent belt slipping and maintain the state of equilibrium between driven pulley (2) and compression spring (5).

Still another embodiment of the present invention is to provide a system wherein, in order to decrease the r.p.m. the adjuster (3) for pulley compressor (4) is rotated into anti-clockwise motion with the help of a torque wrench (etc.) and chain (6) which reduces compression on the driver pulley (1) which pulls belt (7) to inside towards the centre of driver pulley (1) and reduces the rotating circumference of belt (7) and thus cause the belt (7) to travel shorter to complete a rotation at driver pulley (1) which causes less strain on belt (7) and driven pulley (2) to expand by which circumference of belt (7) reduces which causes driven pulley (2) to rotate at lower rpm than before and a compression spring (5) creates pressure at driven pulley (2) to prevent belt slipping and maintain the state of equilibrium between driven pulley (2) and compression spring (5).

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is directed to a speed changer pulley system for a machine thresher which helps to get the desire rpm wherein the inventor has deviced a two pulley system instead of multiple pulley system to overcome the drawback of conventional systems. The two pulley speed changer system setup provided by the Applicants present invention allows any desired rotation instead of two options provided by multiple pulley systems.

One of the main embodiment provides a two-pulley system for a machine thresher as illustrated in Figures 1 and 2 wherein in order to change the rpm an adjuster (3) is rotated in clockwise or anti-clockwise direction which in turn transmits motion to chain (6) which in turn rotates the pulley compressor (4) which creates or releases pressure on driver pulley (1) which causes change in circumference of belt (7) path that results in increase or decrease in RPM due to expansion or contraction in circumference. Such an expansion or contraction in circumference results in strain on the belt by which the driven pulley (2) automatically adjusts belt path circumference by the force of compression spring (5) and prevent the belt slipping. Figure 3 illustrates the various dimensions required for the system.

Another embodiment of the present invention is directed to a system wherein in order to increase the r.p.m. the adjuster (3) for pulley compressor (4) is rotated into clockwise motion with the help of a torque wrench (etc.) and chain (6) which results in compression on the driver pulley (1) which pushes belt (7) to outside and increases its rotating circumference and thus cause the belt to travel much longer to complete a rotation at driver pulley (1) which causes more strain in belt (7) and driven pulley (2) to expand by which circumference of belt (7) reduces which causes driven pulley to rotate at higher rpm and a compression spring (5) creates pressure at driven pulley (2) to prevent belt slipping and maintain the state of equilibrium between driven pulley (2) and compression spring (5).

Still another embodiment of the present invention is to provide a system wherein, in order to decrease the r.p.m. the adjuster (3) for pulley compressor (4) is rotated into anti-clockwise motion with the help of a torque wrench (etc.) and chain (6) which reduces compression on the driver pulley (1) which pulls belt (7) to inside towards the centre of driver pulley (1) and reduces the rotating circumference of belt (7) and thus cause the belt (7) to travel shorter to complete a rotation at driver pulley (1) which causes less strain on belt (7) and driven pulley (2) to expand by which circumference of belt (7) reduces which causes driven pulley (2) to rotate at lower rpm than before and a compression spring (5) creates pressure at driven pulley (2) to prevent belt slipping and maintain the state of equilibrium between driven pulley (2) and compression spring (5).

Although, the present invention has been described with references to features, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that this description is only a preferred embodiment and does not limit the scope of the present invention. Variations and modifications are possible without departing from the scope of the invention disclosed / described herein and are intended to be encompassed therein.

1. A speed changer pulley system for a machine thresher that provides desired revolutions per minute (rpm) the said system characterized in that an adjuster (3) is provided which is rotated in clockwise or anti-clockwise direction which transmits motion to chain (6) which rotates a pulley compressor (4) to create or release pressure on a driver pulley (1) which results in change in circumference of belt (7) path, wherein, if the circumference expands rpm is increased and if the circumference is reduced the rpm is decreased and the belt (7) slipping is prevented due to strain on belt (7) by which a driven pulley (2) automatically adjust belt path circumference by the force of compression spring (5).

The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein, in order to increase the r.p.m. the adjuster (3) for pulley compressor (4) is rotated into clockwise motion with the help of a torque wrench and chain (6) which results in compression on the driver pulley (1) which pushes belt (7) to outside and increases its rotating circumference and thus cause the belt to travel much longer to complete a rotation at driver pulley (1) which causes more strain in belt (7) and driven pulley (2) to expand by which circumference of belt (7) reduces which causes driven pulley to rotate at higher rpm and a compression spring (5) creates pressure at driven pulley (2) to prevent belt slipping and maintain the state of equilibrium between driven pulley (2) and compression spring (5).

The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein, in order to decrease the r.p.m. the adjuster (3) for pulley compressor (4) is rotated into anti-clockwise motion with the help of a torque wrench and chain (6) which reduces compression on the driver pulley (1) which pulls belt (7) to inside towards the centre of driver pulley (1) and reduces the rotating circumference of belt (7) and thus cause the belt (7) to travel shorter to complete a rotation at driver pulley (1) which causes less strain on belt (7) and driven pulley (2) to expand by which circumference of belt (7) reduces which causes driven pulley (2) to rotate at lower rpm than before and a compression spring (5) creates pressure at driven pulley (2) to prevent belt slipping and maintain the state of equilibrium between driven pulley (2) and compression spring (5).
