Air Intake Flexible Duct For An Internal Combustion Engine

Abstract: An intake duct (100) connectable to an air intake conduit of an internal combustion engine of a vehicle is disclosed. The intake duct (100) includes an inlet (1) connectable to a front portion (3) of the vehicle, and an outlet (4) connectable to the air intake conduit. The intake duct (100) further includes an anterior portion (6) 10 with a mounting structure (7) and a plurality of ribs (8) defined therein. One or more foam members (13) are coupled to the anterior portion (6), and are disposed between the inlet (1) and the front portion of the vehicle. The one or more foam members are configured to provide a sealing connection at interface of the inlet (1) and the front portion of the vehicle. The inlet duct (100) further includes a posterior 15 portion (14) configured to be coupled to the air intake conduit of the internal combustion engine. Figure 1 is a representative figure.
