A Foot Peg Of A Vehicle

Abstract: A foot peg (200) of a vehicle (100) is disclosed. The foot peg (200) comprises a base member (202) coupled to a frame member (112) of the vehicle (100). The base member (202) comprises a first arm (204) and a second arm (206). A foot peg member (220) is operatively coupled to the base member (202) and configured to be pivotally movable between a first position and a second position. A detent plate (300) is positioned between the foot peg member (220) and the second arm (206) of the base member (202). The detent plate (300) defines a first slot (304) and a second slot (306) connected by a guide path (308). A ball (232) is configured to secure the foot peg member (220) at the first position and the second position corresponding to the first slot (304) and the second slot (306) of the detent plate (300) respectively.[Figure 2]
