Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method of controlling motion of a moveable closure member (104a, 104b) of an automotive vehicle (102) is disclosed. The method comprises detecting whether the moveable closure member (104a, 104b) is in the motion. The method comprises continuously monitoring a user input (106) received by pressing of any button on a remote control of the automotive vehicle (102) when the moveable closure member (104a, 104b) is in the motion. In response to the user input (106), the method further comprises sending a command signal to an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) (206) of the moveable closure member (104a, 104b) to immediately stop the motion of the moveable closure member (104a, 104b).
