Description:Field of the Invention
This invention relates to IoT based maintenance alert system for sustainable home
Background of the Invention
Considering how frequently people now turn their appliances on and off, there isn't much of an issue. Nevertheless, if we think about somewhat enhancing their way of life, then there is an issue since they can't use voice commands to operate the gadgets with our present home automation offering. To enable the integration of well-known speech endpoints like Alexa and Google Home into our system, we anticipate the innovators in this competition to offer some solutions. Whether at home, at a company, institution, or industry, the majority of consumers of smart home goods will find them beneficial. All users will improve their level of intelligence and, as an added benefit, will use less electricity.
US9584335B1 A Wi-Fi router-based appliance control system and method. The router infers the presence of certain human or animal users based on the association between the user and the Wi-Fi signals emitted by Wi-Fi equipped computerized devices typically associated with the users. The router is configured to control various appliances (router controlled devices), and based on the inference that certain users are or are not local to the router, and various algorithms programmed into the router, the router will in turn control the various router controlled devices. Thus for example, if the router detects a Wi-Fi equipped smartphone coming in range, it can respond by automatically turning on lights or adjusting heating and air conditioning appropriately.
Research Gap: Whenever any of the home appliances will require any maintenance, user will automatically get an alert through the buzzer and speaker and as well as on their mobile app.
US20160165387A1 A smart home system with data analytics for home monitoring or for monitoring enclosed spaces other than the home. The system can include a BLE mesh network with an embedded gateway and a plurality of repeater nodes running BLE mesh software for use with a Cloud server for receiving data from the gateway through Wifi communication. A plurality of devices each with a sensor and a BLE module can be included with the system and wherein one of the sensors can be a fall detection sensor, a heart and respiratory sensor, or a sensor to detect when a switch or an opening of a door or cap occurs. Other sensors can be included.
Research Gap: Whenever any of the home appliances will require any maintenance, user will automatically get an alert through the buzzer and speaker and as well as on their mobile app.
Status and information of all the sensors will be displayed on the user’s mobile app.
None of the prior art indicate above either alone or in combination with one another disclose what the present invention has disclosed. Present invention is IoT based maintenance alert system for sustainable home
