Test Setup For Airborne Navigation System Testing

Abstract: Airborne Navigation systems required verification of functional checks and comparison of navigations parameters. before installation. The· present invention comprises Hardware and Software integrated Test Setup to verify the Functional checks and navigation parameters of the Airborne Navigation System and also provides a single bench solution to test other Navigation system by minor modification in the Test Setup software. The Test Setup comprises the standard hardware for communications and indigenously developed software. Input from Airborne Navigation system 105 to 101 is the entry point for data in the system. The relevance of 101 is to capture and condition the signal such that the same is utilized by 102. Within 102, different processing stages are involved; one such stage is to accept the output of 101 in standard format and process the accepted Data/ Signal and convert it to Universal Serial Bus (USB) format to make it utilize by 103. 103 receive the output of 102 in USB format in cyclic manner _for soft processing. One more function of 103 is to load ·the software by using indigenously developed software.
