This invention relates to Smart Tracking System for Students and Universities / Schools Transportation.
Background of the Invention
Today our education system faces a lot of issues like lack of proper transportation to school, basic student tracking, and if the students have reached the School/University. Parents are generally concerned about the wellbeing of their ward as the young generation indulge in criminal and other anti-social activities. There is a need to develop an AI/ML model which can tackle these problems and improvise the education system.
US9965819B1 School District Administrators have the real-time monitoring of students and school buses during daily school transportation. The IRITRANS® system will provide school districts with real-time bus locations and more importantly the “specific identity of all students on-board”. The system prevents students from becoming lost by boarding or exiting at the wrong assigned bus stop. The iris scanning process is completely mobile from all points of the bus for loading and unloading students with special needs requirements. If a student has a medical emergency the medical history is available to responders for correct treatment. In a hijacking event authorities have access to the real-time GPS location of the bus and the specific identity of students onboard. In the event of a school evacuation, administrators know where the students have been taken and the identity of the students on a specific bus to provide parents. On field trips students are accounted for and not left behind on the return trip. Students will not be abandoned or left sleeping on the school bus.
Research Gap: In invention used GPS, vehicle tracker, barcode and barcode scanner for tracking the students and schools/universities transportation system. The simple process for tracking the students and schools/universities transportation system.
US9576491B1 A system for tracking school buses and school children to enhance the security and safety of schoolchildren and provide real-time information about the location of students and buses to teachers and administrators and parents. The system utilizes GPS components to determine a location of the school buses and biometric scanning technology to determine the identity of the students. The system transmits location and student identity data to a Main Station using a radio network component. Parents and school teacher and administrators can access the data to monitor.
Research Gap: A system for tracking school buses and school children to enhance the security and safety of schoolchildren and provide real-time information about the location of students and buses to teachers and administrators and parents. The system utilizes GPS components to determine a location of the school buses and biometric scanning technology to determine the identity of the students. The system transmits location and student identity data to a Main Station using a radio network component. Parents and school teacher and administrators can access the data to monitor.
US7233240B2 A system includes a global positioning system that tracks and monitors the school and daycare transportation, a plurality of barcode scanners which enter the children into the system and a plurality of barcode bracelets, with a barcode bracelet provided to each of the children that is scanned with the plurality of barcode scanners when a child is entering onto and coming off of the school and daycare transportation. There is also a plurality of school stations that enter and remove the drivers from the system and a central control centre that constantly monitors the plurality of school stations and the global positioning system, the plurality of barcode scanners and the plurality of barcode bracelets.
Research Gap: In the proposed system the barcode would be attached on student’s ID cards that is mandatory.
The entire bus tracking system would be attached with a barcode scanner.
None of the prior art indicate above either alone or in combination with one another disclose what the present invention has disclosed. Present invention is Smart Tracking System For Students And Universities / Schools Transportation.

Figure 1 is a generalized diagram for smart tracking system for students and Universities / schools transportation which consist of the computing unit (16) in which all the process information is received through the GPS, LoRa/ Zigbee, RFID, traffic alert system(13) and students alerting system(14) which will be monitoring and managing the entire system with real-time monitoring and the information would be shared with the parents as well the universities authority via messages, text, notifications etc.
Figure 2 depicts the alert system for parents and universities (101) GPS, (104) RFID, (102) LoRa/ Zigbee, would communicate with the computing unit (105) as well as cloud server (103), the information would be share via application (106) with the parents as well as the institutions.
Figure 3 illustrates bus tracking system, which comprises of computing unit to process all the information received through GPS (205), RFID (206), LoRa/ Zigbee (208) would be connected to cloud server (201). A traffic alert system (209) for managing and alerting the transportation systems that would help the schools/ universities vehicles to reaches the desire destination on time.

ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION:
1. Tracking of the students and universities/schools’ transportation system easily with the real-time monitoring.
2. Direct parents’ access & notifications via MMS/Text, smartphones etc. with the help of cloud database web apis/ web pages.
3. Monitoring the children exact location and locomotion activities with the tracking system in campus even outside the campus.
4. This invention is one step towards the improving the today’s education system.
