An Air Deflector System For A Roof Carrier System

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an air deflector system for a vehicle. The air deflector system comprises at least one cross bar disposed over a roof of the vehicle and a carrier is removably mounted on the cross bar. The carrier is formed by a front wall, a rear wall and a pair of side walls. The front wall is configured to face a fore end of the vehicle and overhangs about the cross bar. A load floor is removably supported by carrier. At least one first deflector is coupled along the front wall of the carrier. The first deflector extends downwardly from the front wall to deflect passage of air between the carrier and the cross bar. Also, a second deflector can be mounted to each of a pair of stanchions and configured to obstruct passage of air into the keyhole defined on the pair of stanchions.
