A Support Assembly For A Seat Of A Vehicle

Abstract: A support assembly (100) for a seat (S) of a vehicle is disclosed. The support assembly comprises a mounting plate (10), a cam (30), a plurality of followers (42), and a plurality of spring members (50). The mounting plate (10) is connected to a seat frame (SF) of the seat (S). The cam (30) is rotatably mounted on the mounting plate (10). The plurality of followers (42) is pivotally mounted on the mounting plate (10). Further, at least one portion of the plurality of followers (42) is engaged with a cam profile (32) of the cam (30). The plurality of followers (42) is movable based on the movement of the cam (30). Furthermore, a plurality of spring members (50) is connected to the plurality of followers (42) and the seat frame (SF). Furthermore, the plurality of spring members (50) is configured to be moved between an inflated position (IF) and a deflated position (DF) based on the movement of the plurality of followers (42) for comfort.
