Utilising Low Grade Heat In Vacuum Distillation Unit

Abstract: A system (100) to recover heat from a fractionation unit and maintain temperature of a gaseous stream released from the fractionation unit is disclosed. The system (100) includes at least one fractionation column and a cooling unit and at least one heat exchanger (30). The at least one fractionation column fluidly may be coupled to at least one ejector of a plurality of ejectors (10). The cooling unit may be fluidly coupled to a plurality of outlet channels of each fractionation column. The at least one heat exchanger (30) may be fluidly coupled to the plurality of ejectors (10). The at least one heat exchanger (30) may be configured to receive the second fluid in the cold condition from the cooling unit, and exchange heat between the received second fluid in the cold condition and a gaseous stream flowing from the at least one fractionation column to the at least one ejector.
