The reinforcement member (100) comprises an upper flange (10) disposed proximal to an outer panel (210) of the sliding door (200). Further, a lower flange (20) is integrally connected to the upper flange (10) with a side wall (30) and the lower flange (20) is coupled to an inner panel (220) of the sliding door (200).
