Catheter Assembly

Abstract: A catheter assembly (100) includes an outer needle (101) and an inner needle (102) inserted through the outer needle (101). The outer needle is made of a polyether block amide (PEBA) polymer containing repeating units represented by the following formula (1), and the polymer has a Vicat softening temperature of 80°C or more and 150°C or less under a load of 50 N as measured according to ISO 306. In the formula (1), A is a polyamide, B is a polyether, and n is the number of units.
