Mounting Tray For Deployable Flight Data Recorder

Abstract: Deployable Flight data Recorder system (10) is a Crash protected Flight Data & Audio Recorder system with Emergency Locator Transmitter. Mounting tray (100) for Deployable Flight Data Recorder(10) provides a mechanism, to hold the Deployable Flight data Recorder system (10) with the aircraft firmly and supports the Deployable Flight data Recorder system (10) against the aircraft structural loads, coming from aircraft structure during flying, landing and take-off, and also assists in engagement & disengagement of Deployable Flight data Recorder system (10) from the aircraft. The mounting tray(100) remains fixed in the aircraft and holds the Deployable Flight data Recorder system (10) with release mechanism(9), which is fixed in the mounting tray(100), and pushes the Deployable Flight data Recorder system (10) out of the aircraft with the compression springs(8) fixed in the mounting tray(100).
