Abstract: Provided is a powder cosmetic comprising inorganic powder and a polyaspartic acid alkali metal salt covering a portion or the entirety of the surface of the inorganic powder, wherein: the weight average molecular weight x of the polyaspartic acid alkali metal salt is 1,000-150,000; and the weight average molecular weight x of the polyaspartic acid alkali metal salt and the mass ratio y of the polyaspartic acid alkali metal salt to the total amount of the inorganic powder and the polyaspartic acid alkali metal salt satisfy y?1.6×107x-2.275 and y?1.3×105x-2.232.
