Pouch Type Battery Cell Including Safety Element Between Electrode Lead And Lead Film
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pouch-type battery cell comprising: an electrode assembly to which an electrode lead is bonded; a pouch case in which the electrode assembly is accommodated and a sealing portion is formed on the outside thereof for sealing; and a lead film interposed between the electrode lead and the inner surface of the pouch case, wherein a safety element is included between the electrode lead and the lead film so as to absorb the energy inside the battery cell and discharge electricity from the battery cell when the battery cell is overheated above a certain temperature.
