Abstract: An activation method of the present invention comprises: a step for deriving a reduction reaction voltage on the basis of an electrolyte additive; a pre-charge step for pre-charging a secondary battery in which is injected an electrolyte comprising the electrolyte additive; and a pre-aging step for, by means of the injected electrolyte, wetting and aging an electrode assembly received in the secondary battery, wherein an end-of-charge voltage in the pre-charge step is lower than the reduction reaction voltage.
