Electric Actuator

Abstract: This electric actuator comprises an electric motor, a nut (first screw member), and a screw shaft (second screw member) screw-inserted so as to be capable of advancing/retreating into/from the nut, each screw thread of the screw shaft being composed of two flanks and a top connecting the flanks, and uses grease as a lubricant, wherein groove sections cut out toward the bottom from the top are respectively formed in the screw threads of the screw shaft, and tapered surfaces spreading away from the groove sections in the circumferential direction are respectively formed in at least a portion of a flank-side peripheral edge of each groove section, thereby making it possible to promote lubrication of the screwing section between the first screw member and the second member to improve motion conversion efficiency and inhibit wear of the screwing section.
