Exhaust Gas Purification Catalyst Structure

Abstract: In an exhaust gas purification catalyst unit according to the present invention: a plurality of plate-shaped catalyst elements comprising one flat plate section and one corrugated plate section are superposed so that the tops of the ridges of the corrugated plate section of one plate-shaped catalyst element are in contact with the flat plate section of the neighboring plate-shaped catalyst element and gas flow paths are maintained by the corrugated plate section; projections of the flat plate sections and the corrugated plate sections from the main surface normal directions thereof each form a quadrilateral shape; one side of the corrugated plate sections is connected to one side of the flat plate sections; and there is a total of at least four ridges and valleys in the corrugated plate sections.
