Battery Cell And Battery Module Comprising Same

Abstract: A battery cell according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a battery case in which an electrode assembly is mounted in an accommodation portion and which comprises a sealing portion having an outer circumference that is sealed; an electrode lead which is electrically connected to an electrode tab included in the electrode assembly and protrudes in the outer direction of the battery case via the sealing portion; and a lead film located on a portion, in at least one of the upper and lower portions of the electrode lead, corresponding to the sealing portion. A gas-discharge inducing portion is inserted in the lead film, and the sealing portion comprises a first sealing portion located on the gas-discharge guide portion and second sealing portions located at both sides of the first sealing portion. In addition, the width of the first sealing portion may be less than the width of the second sealing portion on the basis of the direction in which the electrode lead protrudes.
