Abstract: A cosmetic composition for exfoliating skin and method for exfoliating skin using the cosmetic composition are provided. The cosmetic composition has at least one oxidizing agent; at least one fatty compound present from about at least 20 wt.%, the said fatty compound having a molecular weight of less than about 400g/mol; and wherein the composition can accelerate skin rejuvenation, reduce skin pore size appearance and casual sebum, improve skin tone evenness and radiance, and improve overall skin appearance.
