Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel additive for a non-aqueous electrolyte solution and a lithium secondary battery comprising same, wherein the additive for a non-aqueous electrolyte solution comprises an ionic compound represented by chemical formula 1 such that a film is formed on the surface of an electrode when the secondary battery is activated, such that generation of a large amount of gas under high temperature conditions can be prevented, and since metal ions are eluted from the electrode and a drop in OCV and a decrease of a capacity retention rate of a cell can thus be prevented, the durability, performance, and high-temperature safety of the battery can be improved effectively.
