Novel Schizochytrium Sp. Strain And Polyunsaturated Fatty Acid Production Method Using Same
Abstract: The present application relates to a novel Schizochytrium sp. strain and a polyunsaturated fatty acid production method using same. Novel Schizochytrium sp. microalgae, according to one aspect, have high fat content among biomass and particularly have high polyunsaturated fatty acid content, such as docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), and thus said microalgae, and biomass or bio-oil produced therefrom may be usefully employed as raw feed material, etc.
