Method For Preparing Acrylic Acid

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preparing acrylic acid, the method comprising the steps of: dehydrating, by a reaction section, an aqueous lactic acid solution to prepare a reaction product stream; sequentially passing the reaction product stream through a cooling section and a purification section and supplying a discharge stream from the purification section to an acrylic acid separation column; and performing, by the acrylic acid separation column, the separation into unreacted lactic acid as a side discharge stream and the acrylic acid as an upper discharge stream.
