Method For Preparing Acrylic Acid

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preparing acrylic acid, and provides a method for preparing acrylic acid comprising the steps of: supplying an aqueous solution of lactic acid to a reactor and causing a dehydration reaction so as to produce a reaction product comprising acrylic acid; supplying, to a first cooling tower, a reactor discharge stream comprising the reaction product, and supplying, to a second cooling tower, a top discharge stream of the first cooling tower; supplying, to an extraction tower, a first acrylic acid aqueous solution stream discharged from the bottom of the second cooling tower; supplying, to a distillation tower, a top discharge stream of the extraction tower and a second acrylic acid aqueous solution stream discharged from the bottom of the first cooling tower; and separating acrylic acid from a bottom discharge stream of the distillation tower.
