Highly Stretchable Woven Fabric

Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of providing a woven fabric that has flexibility, and a high stretchability and stretch recovery ratio in a weft direction and a bias direction. A solution to the problem is a stretchable woven fabric that has a multiple-weave structure. The multiple-weave structure includes a weave structure in which a backed weft structure and a tricot weave structure which is a double warp weave and has a ridged pattern in a warp direction are combined with warp threads shared by these structures and arranged alternately in a certain sequence. The float length of weft forming the backed weft structure with respect to the warp is at least three.
