Electrode Assembly And Battery, And Battery Pack And Vehicle Comprising Same
Abstract: Disclosed are an electrode assembly and a battery, and a battery pack and a vehicle comprising same. The electrode assembly is an electrode assembly in which a core and an outer circumferential surface are defined by winding a first electrode, a second electrode, and a separator interposed therebetween around a winding axis, wherein the first electrode includes, along the winding direction, a first active material part coated with an active material layer and a first uncoated part not coated with the active material layer. At least a portion of the first uncoated part is defined as an electrode tab. The first uncoated part may comprise: a first portion adjacent to the core of the electrode assembly; a second portion adjacent to the outer circumferential surface of the electrode assembly; and a third portion between the first portion and the second portion. The first portion or the second portion may be smaller in height than the third portion in the winding axis direction.
