Beta Zeolite And Method For Producing Same
Abstract: A method for producing beta zeolite, said method comprising contacting a beta zeolite matrix powder, which is synthesized without using an organic structure-directing agent, with an aqueous alkaline solution with a pH value of 12 or higher. It is preferred to set the liquid temperature of the aqueous alkaline solution to 40-100°C inclusive. Also, it is preferred to set the ratio of the matrix powder to the aqueous alkaline solution to 10-1000 g/L inclusive. Also, it is preferred to set the contact time to 0.5-48 hours inclusive. Also, it is preferred that the molar ratio of SiO2/Al2O3 is 16 or lower.
