Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrolyte composition having enhanced high-temperature safety and a secondary battery comprising same, the electrolyte composition comprising, along with a first additive comprising a compound represented by chemical formula 1, a specific amount of a second additive comprising one or more type of a cyclic carbonate compound, thereby being capable of effectively reducing gas that is generated when charging/discharging a lithium secondary battery, and also being capable of reinforcing an SEI layer on the surface of an electrode, thereby having the advantage of enabling the improvement of storage characteristics and life characteristics at a high temperature.
