Gripper Assembly For Charging/Discharging Secondary Battery, And Charging/Discharging Device Comprising Same

Abstract: The present invention relates to a gripper assembly for charging/discharging a secondary battery in order to prevent swelling caused by internal defects and ignition risk due to temperature rise. The gripper assembly for charging/discharging a secondary battery, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a gripper body unit arranged at a position corresponding to that of an electrode lead of a second battery; a contact member which is formed at the electrode lead side of the gripper body unit, and which is pressed by the surface of the electrode lead and is in contact therewith; and a safety block unit which is formed at the gripper body unit, and which has a shape that changes according to heat transferred from the secondary battery, so as to release the pressed state of the electrode lead.
