Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel additive for a non-aqueous electrolyte solution and a lithium secondary battery comprising same. By comprising an ionic compound represented by chemical formula 1, the additive for a non-aqueous electrolyte solution forms a film on the surface of an electrode when a secondary battery is activated, thus preventing the generation of a large amount of gas under high-temperature conditions, and enables metal ions to be eluted from the electrode, thus preventing a reduction in the OCV and capacity retention rate of a cell, and thus can effectively improve the durability, performance and high-temperature safety of a battery.
